Scholarships
KBA SCHOLARSHIPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KNIGHTS OF OLD
As part of our careers programme, a group of students in Year 10 have been selected for a scholarship with our Business Enterprise Partner, Knights of Old. The scholarships are designed to get students prepared for the world of work and to help equip them with the skills that employers are looking for.
Scholarships were available in each of the following areas:
- Transport Operations
- Accounts
- Business Development / Marketing
- Human Resources
- Warehouse Operations
- HGV Driving
Successful students have been allocated a mentor from Knights of Old and they will be given expert advice, training and first- hand experience of a particular aspect of the business. As well as gaining an insight into a large and dynamic local company, students who impress over the course of the scholarship will be offered a paid internship at the end of Year 11 and will have a fast track to employment opportunities within the company.
