Bursary applications

16–19 Bursary Information

Students at KBA Sixth Form may be eligible for additional support to help them fully engage with their studies and opportunities.

There are two types of bursaries available:

• Vulnerable Bursary – For students in care, care leavers, or those receiving specific benefits.
• Discretionary Bursary – Based on individual circumstances and assessed need.

Support can include help with travel, course materials, field trips, university visits, and other essential costs linked to learning and progression.

How to Apply: All bursary applications and supporting documentation must be submitted online through the Applica platform.

1. Log in to Applica: Sign in to your existing Applica account (this is the same portal you used for your Sixth Form application).
2. Access the Application: Navigate to the 'Forms' or 'Bursary' section on your dashboard and select the 16–19 Bursary Application.
3. Upload Evidence: Complete the required fields and upload clear, digital copies of your supporting evidence (such as recent benefit letters, P60s, or proof of care status).
4. Submit: Review your details carefully and submit the application for the Sixth Form team to assess.
