Primary Uniform

We are very proud of our uniform, which incorporates our four house colours.

The uniform expectations are set out below. Please take note of the items that are not allowed at the academy.

Allowed

Clothing

  • Black school trousers, skirts,
  • House coloured polo shirt (does not need to be branded)
  • School-branded jumper or cardigan (KBA fleeces are acceptable also)
  • Summer dress (gingham house coloured dress in warmer months)
  • Black tailored shorts (in warmer months)
  • Plain black shoes (no trainers or boots)
  • One stud earring per ear

PE Kit

  • House coloured polo top (does not need to be branded) or branded KBA PE polo
  • Black shorts, cycling shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms
  • Trainers (for outdoor PE)
  • Plimsolls (for indoor PE)
  • School branded PE hoodie or sweatshirt

Not Allowed

Clothing

  • Jeans, leggings (unless worn for PE), or joggers as daily uniform
  • Hoodies or non-school jumpers
  • Non KBA branded or logo-heavy clothing
  • Trainers or boots worn as school shoes

Accessories

  • Large or decorative hair accessories
  • Jewellery (except small stud earrings and a watch)
  • Make-up, nail polish, false nails
  • Hats or caps worn indoors

PE Kit

  • Football kits or branded sportswear
  • Fashion trainers (e.g., with lights or wheels)
  • Crop tops or sleeveless vests
