KS4 Curriculum Pathways

On Thursday 27th February from 6 till 8pm there will be an opportunity for you to come in and discuss individual subjects. There will be no formal talk on the evening, so parents and students are free to arrive at any time to discuss possible curriculum choices. Staff from each subject area will be on hand to offer guidance, support and information about subjects. On the evening there will also be an opportunity to speak to a representative from Prospects, an independent careers advice service, to speak about career routes beyond Key Stage 4.

The Pathways book will be available online through the academy website from Monday 3rd February. Year 9 Parents evening is on Thursday 5th December so please take this opportunity to talk to your child’s teachers about their suitability for GCSE study in each course.

Applications are made online through SIMS. Full details about this will be handed to students on Thursday 27th February.

If you have any questions about the Choices process, please contact your child’s tutor.
