Home Learning

KBA Primary will continue to provide work for children should they be isolating at home due to COVID. We want you, parents, to have all the help you can get during these uncertain times. If your child is at home because they are awaiting the test results of a family member or have been asked to self-isolate for any other reason, then home learning packs are available below for them to access at home.

Click on the year group below and download the Remote Learning Curriculum Pack to find resources and video lessons linked to the KBA learning journey. These packs, and the lessons within, are linked to the National Curriculum for each year group and are recognised and approved by United Learning and Gov.uk.

Tutor Bot contains completely free online maths games where children can practice their mathematics skills.  We feature over 100 different customisable games which we hope kids will find to be a fun and new way to improve their mathematics fluency, accuracy and speed.

If you require any additional help, please email the class teacher.

Primary Continuity of Learning Plan

Should a child have to self-isolate due to coronavirus, be this independently for 10-14 days, or as part of a whole class bubble, they can continue their learning remotely. This learning will be the same as what they would have done in school and they will receive regular communication and feedback from their class teachers through the Purple Mash website.  https://www.purplemash.com/login/ or a phone call from the teacher or teaching assistant.

We are confident the measures we have put in place to facilitate remote learning will massively reduce the disruption upon children's learning if they cannot attend school and would invite you to read through and watch the materials within the KBA Continuity of Learning Plan to understand how remote learning will work for your child.

Below are some additional resources if your child isn’t attending school for 10-14 days or more. All other work will be set through Purple Mash or in the ‘Remote Learning Curriculum’ packs above. In the event of a bubble or school closure, Microsoft Teams will be used to deliver 1 hour of live streamed teaching per day. Please download the Teams app on your device or visit https://teams.microsoft.com/ More guidance on using Microsoft Teams is contained within the KBA Continuity of Learning plan.
