Literacy and Library

KBA library is open daily to all students from 8am to 8.20am, at break time, at lunch time and after school every Monday to Friday. Pupils can take out, return, and renew books by visiting the library at these times.

We are proud that our library is used as a teaching and working area by primary, secondary and staff.

Form Time Reading

Form time reading (FTR) takes place weekly and is delivered during registration time to pupils in years 7-10. Pupils are exposed to a range of text types and challenging material. FTR promotes fluency, development of vocabulary and comprehension.
