Higher Education and Careers Fair 2018
– 8th March 2018 5.30-8.00pm

Following the success of this event in previous years, we are once again offering all KBA students from Years 7-13 and from schools in the surrounding area the opportunity to attend our Careers and Higher Education Evening.

Last year over 60 organisations gave presentations or provided one to one careers advice.  Most of these are listed below.   The presentations included a trainee doctor from Leicester University on ‘Applying for medicine and training as a medic’ and Stuart Ratcliffe from BBC (Look East) outlining ‘Careers in the media’ as well as information on apprenticeship routes and different aspects of university.  A range of employers across many different sectors including engineering, construction, retail, the forces, the legal profession, healthcare and IT gave students an insight into a wide range of potential careers and the different paths that can be taken in order to pursue them.

We anticipate a similar number of organisations will be in attendance on 8th March 2018 and will post further details of exhibitors for 2018 in the Spring Term.
